You Are Always Auditioning...
So as you all know auditions were today. At first, earlier in the day I was pretty nervious. But it's to be expected when your doing something for something else you've wanted or want. I love being in plays and so this play is no different.
But I've been thinking about that saying..."You are always auditioning". And thinking about how true it really is. Especially with school just starting. When you think about it, you only have one first impression to give these new kids. And we don't want to not be nice because these people are going to be with us at least a year if not more. You never want people to get a bad first impression.
And it's the same with your teachers. If their first impression of you is that you slack off and never come to class they aren't going to be so leanient in the small things. And take it visa-versa. I had a horrible first impression of a teacher yesterday and I know that unless he only does that the first day, I'm in trouble.
But going back to auditioning. If the director doesn't quite think your right and you don't show them all that you can do, they probably won't cast you. You have to so whem all your capable of doing and make it the best first impression you can. Which at times can be hard. But you just have to try your hardest and hope it's right.
Mabey you'll get that part and mabey you won't. But life goes on and with that famouse but annoying song "The sun will come out tomorrow".
